The physical case size of the PC545 was designed for military applications and may not be a perfect fit for your application as it is sometimes a bit smaller; but more powerful; than the original battery. In some applications minor cable modifications maybe required. The PC545MJ (MJ=Metal Jacket), means the battery is housed in a metal jacket. This enables the battery withstand higher ambient temperatures. The PC545MJ is rated to withstand temperatures of 176 degrees Fahrenheit vs. the standard PC545 is rated at 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Reviews    Odyssey Batteries, Sep 20, 2011    Ownership: Use regularly   Knowledge Level: Genius is my way of life Pros: The Odyssey brand of battery was recommended to me by a friend because I complained about not receiving, what I thought to be, very long life from the batteries I paid top dollar for at the Harley dealership. It seemed as if there was a timer implanted in these Harley batteries that when 1 year, 1 hour and 1 minute after the purchase the things would stop working. Dealership batteries are junk. So for just a few dollars more I decided to try the Odyssey battery. Best decision I ever made. It's now going on almost 4 years and my Odyssey is going strong-hot, cold, it makes not difference to this jewell. Get one and you won't ever have another brand! Cons: Wish they weren't quite as spendy but 'ya get what 'ya pay for. And in the case of the Odyssey a whole lot more.
