The new SC-8020A charger by Schumacher raises multipurpose battery chargers to a new level. For quick starting Schumacher brings the impressive 80 amp start option to the table. The SC-8020A also has a 10-20 amp rapid charger, as well as a 2 amp trickle charger. As with previous models, the SC-8020A’s output is fully controlled via an integrated microprocessor for ideal charging rates that are completely user selectable for AGM, Standard Flooded Batteries, and Gel Cell batteries. With the advancement of computer technology and circuitry design, the SC-8020A is constantly monitoring the charging process and making it more reliable and faster. Using advanced algorithms, the SC-8020A prevents both overcharging and overheating during the charging process.
