Power-Sonic is a United States Corporation with over 30 years of experience in the battery industry. From its inception the corporate mission of Power-Sonic has been dedicated exclusively to designing, manufacturing, and marketing rechargeable batteries. Power-Sonic batteries are distributed in over 25 countries.
In 2005, it was determined that there was a shortage of realistically priced, high quality replacement batteries in the Power Sport industry. In response to this, Power-Sonic hired one of the most reputable power sport battery executives in the U.S. to head their Power Sports battery program. As a result of this decision, we now have a complete line of batteries covering Motorcycles (world wide), ATVŐs, Motor Scooters, Personal Watercraft, Snowmobiles, Utility Vehicles, and riding Mowers.
Yamaha Motor Corporation has done extensive testing of the Power Sonic Super Sport Battery and has found them to meet or exceed their battery and electrical criteria. In early 2006 Yamaha signed a contract to purchase batteries from Power-Sonic and offer the Super Sport Battery through their dealer network as a replacement battery along with the Yuasa and GS Batteries, which are in the higher-end battery segment. Although we could sell many other brands of batteries, we believe the Power-Sonic Super Sport to be a "Best Buy".
