Just installed this battery in my 07 Sportster and it fired right up. It arrived fast and was well packaged. It was also the best price i found for what i was looking for. Now for the real test...hopefully many years of starting in the blistering heat of south Alabama. New Battery for Sporty
I would recommend this battery to others with 04 Sportsters because it fits the small battery case much easier than OEM.
Got the battery in 3 days, delivered to door while I was at work by USPS, installed easier than the higher priced HD OEM I changed out 3 years ago. This battery was about 1/8 inch shorter that OEM so slipped into the tight space on my 04 1200C Sporty just fine. Fired right up and ran strong. Hopefully it will give me at least equal service as the OEM did.

Just put this battery in my '04 XL1200C (exact dimensions of OEM battery) and couldn't be happier. The 260 CCA started the bike in an instant. Previous battery only had 220 CCA, was only 2 years old, and would barely turn the engine over. Scorpion battery arrived at 12.6 volts. I put it on my battery tender and the light turned green after 3 hours and voltage was 13.2.
Will be interesting to see how many years I get out of this battery. Price and service can't be beat!

Best motorcycle battery
Its simply a very good reliable battery for my Harley.
Ive gotten 3 year out of my first Scorpion battery so ofcourse Scorpion is my only choice for a replacement. I tweaked my Sportster so standard batteries couldnt start the higher compression. This battery handles it very well. The more heavy duty terminals hold the cables tight. And replacement couldnt be easier. No need to disconnect all the cables. Just unscrew the terminal posts from the top of the old battery and screw them back onto the new one. So incredibly easy.

Great Replacement Battery
I am considering the lithium if the current battery ever fails.
The battery is less expensive than the Harley brand battery and last longer from my experience. I started replacing my Harley batteries with the Scorpion three years ago and I have not had one fail yet. If I forgot the trickle charger over the winter the Harley battery was done. The scorpion busted right off.

Did notice USPS tracking has been seriously bad lately. But that is at no fault to the shipper. Just a heads up to those who order.
Whoever owned my motorcycle before me installed a battery from another battery store chain and the terminals did not extend flush to the end of the battery. For the first year it didn't cause me any issues. this year it would go totally dead on me when going to start it. This battery exceeds all the OEM specs and looks identical to the factory battery.
