Overview
The Guest 2720A is a 12V 20-amp waterproof on-board smart charge with two 12V 10-amp banks to charge two 12v Group 24 through Group 31 batteries. The Guest 2720A is IP67 waterproof-rated, shock-resistant for both fresh and saltwater applications, and features a low-profile, flangeless extruded aluminum housing with heat sink cooling fins.
The 2720A features dedicated charging and sensing indicators per charging bank. The easy-to-read graphics indicate the status of each battery bank through the charging process. The charger features built-in safety protections, including reverse polarity, overcurrent, overvoltage, over-temperature, and ignition protection.
Typical installation:
Each bank outputs 12 volts meant for individual 12v batteries no larger than a group 31 battery (approximately 110 AH). The Guest 2710A can be used for two independent 12v batteries or one 24v trolling motor battery pack using two 12v batteries.
Recommended uses:
Bulk charge of flooded and AGM maintenance-free batteries group 24 (Approx 75 AH) through group 31 (Approx 110 AH), and charge/maintenance of batteries partially discharged up to 150 amp hours. Not recommended for 6 Volt Batteries, 4D or 8D batteries, or any combined battery amp-hour rating exceeding 150 AH per battery bank.
For 24v series configurations you must be using two 12v batteries/banks in series, and each 12v battery/bank will receive a dedicated 12v 10 Amp charging bank.Features
