12 Volt 35 Amp Hour AGM Battery

Pros: I have owned this more than 3 years and it still works perfectly. I use it for back up power when the electricity is down, or to run radio equipment and LED lighting in remote locations. I have run a 250 watt model KitchenAid mixer with an inverter from it, as well as other AC loads.

Cons: None, it has worked perfectly. I do use quality multi stage chargers on it though, like the UPG # 71707 and more recently I bought the NOCO Genious G3500 for it.

Other Thoughts: This is roughly half the size and weight of a smaller automobile battery. It is not too heavy to move around easily but has a large enough capacity to run small appliances for a few minutes at a time with an inverter, or run radio receivers and LED lighting for weeks of power outage without recharging.

Pros: Regarding a deep cycle 12volt AGM battery I just received, I am very pleased with this battery for lots of reserve power to power up a portable sound system, public address system. ( dba : beautiful-amps.com )This battery will charge up fine with ordinary run of the mill chargers. I typically charge a new battery like this one, let it rest, and charge again. It seems to help get it up to full charge - in this case easily 14 volts! I will definitely order more just like it.

Cons: Can't think of anything "con"

Other Thoughts: I will need a 16 volt AGM deep cycle for certain solid state devices that require this operating voltage. Those batteries are close to $300 or more; and the chargers are also in that range-meaning it is too costly for me, or anyone else. They are called "racing batteries" used in Nascar, I suppose...well, not all of us have millions in advertising dollars to play with. I'd very much like to see a 16v AMG deep cycle for an affordable amount, and a simple charger for it as well.
