Open House Success | March 24, 2011

Posted on March 25, 2011
We held an Open House yesterday, March 24, 2011. We had a great turn out! We celebrated our move to the new building, with more space than we know what to do with (yet). We have the whole crew in uniform, and their families were present. We also had neighbors and business people see the place, too. We wanted to get the word out that we are now open to the public with a store front. Thank you to all who were able to visit. read more...

News Update | China Hat 2011 and Shorai LFX Batteries

Posted on April 21, 2011
With the arrival of Spring to at least most of the USA, we see a major increase in the number of batteries leaving our warehouse to be installed in all brands and types of Powersports applications. While we at BatteryStuff.com appreciate the ‘crazy season’, it always amazes me how many batteries give up the ghost over the long winter. Mostly this is due to poor, or nonexistent maintenance procedures. With the cost of commodities on the rise purchasing a new smart charger is currently one of the best investments you can make, certainly more than money in the bank! read more...

Personal Testimony | We Support our ATV Riders

Posted on April 26, 2011
In Western Oregon, we are lucky to have a variety of sand dunes near Florence, Reedsport and Coos Bay. With the coast just miles away, the sea breeze feels nice when you drift along the hot sand. My first time riding on the dunes was an event I will never forget. Particularity when I foolishly challenged a particular hill...and lost. My quad and I came rolling down, and stuck in the sand. Luckily no harm was done...except maybe my pride. read more...

He progressed through club level racing to the national championship and then spent three years chasing the World Enduro Championship in Europe. In 1999, Shane made the move to the United States to race in the Grand National Cross Country series. Shane has just started his 13th year racing for KTM. read more...

Special Event | Get Ready for Father's Day

Posted on June 13, 2011
This Sunday, June 19th, is Father's Day. It's a great day to have a family Barbeque and have dear 'ol Dad grill some of his famous dangerously saucy burgers and dogs. The weather is sure to be warm and sunny. And if you're lucky, someone will have brought over a glass of some freshly squeezed lemonade served with ice cubes. I'm sure any father would appreciate a real day of rest and relaxation. BatteryStuff would like to take this time to wish everyone a safe summer, and a very Happy Father's Day! read more...

Special Event | Father's Day at Pottsville, Oregon

Posted on June 21, 2011
Father's Day was last Sunday, and I had the opportunity to spend some of my afternoon at a little festival in Southern Oregon that we call, Pottsville. There was live music, food, shops, children's events, and their famous tractor pull. I got to see some vintage John Deere tractors and some aged (and outdated) combustion engines that were still running strong. It's a nice event for the agricultural community to show off their machines. In the course of the gathering, my eye caught an interested sight. I walked in a hanger displaying some restored classic cars, and I looked up to see this 1967 125cc Montgomery Ward Motorcycle. read more...

Race Report | 2012 Funky Chicken

Posted on June 21, 2012
OK, let me just start this race report by saying I today, right now, feel like a crash test dummy at a proctology convention. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I had a great event. But man, that sort of chop leads to some seriously sore derriere. Today, I have that ‘Ima gonna be sore tomorrow feelin’, and a real ‘shot out of a cannon’ look to my eyes.

But, you came here for a race report, so here she goes. read more...

Why Wait to Maintain Your Battery System?

Posted on August 21, 2012
When our economy took its little spill nearly 4 years ago, most of us assumed it would be back to normal by now, and this little hiccup would be a memory. Unfortunately that thought couldn’t be further from the truth. If anything, making decisions for the future has become tougher rather than easier. It seems like the whole world is waiting on the outcome of the upcoming presidential election before moving forward. But why wait to maintain your battery system? read more...
