Product InformationStore Part Number: OPT-34M

Optima batteries are specially designed for rugged use.  Because of their unique spiral wound cells, they are 15 times more vibration resistant than conventional batteries.  The Optima 34M battery is built for performance.  It is extremely vibration resistant, has a high discharge capability, and can perform in both high and low temperatures.  This unusual looking battery has 6 packs of spiral wound cells.  Optima takes two thin lead plates and winds them in a tight spiral resulting in increased energy, and better deep cycling abilities.  Optima batteries may not be a direct fit with your stock battery box, and may require some modification to the connections.  The 34M Blue top battery is recommended for Marine and RV starting applications only.

Optima 12v 750 CCA Blue Top OPT - 34M
Pros: Have 3 of these Optima 12v 34-M batteries on a 55 ft yacht. Two,in series, to power a 24v bow thruster with a dedicated 24v Charles charger. These 2 were replaced 4 months ago after 10 years of service. The other has been the start battery for a 8 kw generator for 11 yrs and has lost CCAs and may be replaced soon, although it still starts the gen set without problem. Will try rehab with a Pulse Tech XC100 restorer first.
Cons: Although initially more expensive, considering years of service, a good value
