Overview
The Samlex America BGW-60 is a waterproof, smart, and user-programmable low-voltage disconnect. Using the user set points, the BGW-60 is designed to disconnect the load from the battery, thereby preventing excessive discharge of the battery. The BGW-60 is designed to handle a 60-Amp continuous load and a 65-Amp transient load.
The Samlex BGW-60 is designed for 12V or 24V systems and uses an autodetect voltage threshold to determine the system voltage. The 12V system is set when connected to a battery pack with a voltage between 8-19 VDC. For 24V auto detection, the system voltage needs to be between 20-35 VDC.
The BGW-60 is waterproof IP66 rated and features a low 3.2 mA consumption rating, backed by a manufacturer's 2-year warranty.
