not impressed
Pros: looks nice, quiet, worked for 6 months well.
Cons: This product failed after 6 months use. When I found my warranty I realized I had voided it because I cut the plug off to hard wire into my application (not the cause of failure). I'm still giving it 2 stars because the application I had it in was demanded. It was mounted on the battery box of a semi-tractor. I use a generator when parked and have a refrigerator and lights, radio, etc... powered by 12V. I thought I had found the bulletproof solution to keep the batteries topped off when running the generator or plugged into shore power, but it quit after 6 months.
Other Thoughts: I may try another and mount in cab where there is additional suspension and weather protection, maybe it will last longer ? This time I will not cut the plug off the cord so I am not out $105 if it fails! ****Note From***** In application like this we generally recommend Power-Supplies/Converters similar to what you find in RV's. Demands like this can task a sealed unit as they are unable to disperse the heat from constant charging. Nor are they designed to be used while the batteries are in operation.
