48v Battery Tender
Pros: * Overall design * Equalization mode * Vendor Quality/Reputation * Ease of use
Cons: * Overall Size * Cost * No true float mode * Needs quick disconnect (S-connect) on output leads.
Charger rated at 10 amps but only shows an 8 amp charge rate using a "Kill-A-Watt" monitor. Takes about 24 hours and 6 kwh to charge 4-110ah AGM batteries from 38 volts. Have had very good performance from Battery Tender chargers, this makes number 3, all still in use.
