Overview

Battery Doc® Chargers/Maintainers are ideal for RVs, motorcycles, boats, cars, ATVs, gas powered golf carts and other applications where space is tight. All are manufactured in an ISO approved factory and are individually tested for quality control.

  • Electronic Switching Technology - Battery Doc® Chargers utilize electronic switching power technology as opposed to the linear technology (transformers) used with most other battery chargers.
  • Safer to Use - Electronic switching technology chargers do not get warm to the touch, unlike transformer chargers, making them friendlier to use! Battery Doc® chargers are both short circuit protected and spark proof!
  • Compact, Portable, and Ultra Light - Our chargers are about half the size and half the weight of other chargers!
  • Reverse Polarity Protected - Battery Doc® chargers are reverse polarity protected! Assures no damage to your battery or charger if the leads are connected incorrectly.

Nice Features
Pros: I really like the toggle showing amp draw. I use it on a trolling motor battery and a starting one. The LED says charged, and the AMP indicator shows zero, I know it's charged. The start battery likes to cycle, led goes on/off, but the AMP shows zero, I know it's charged. Plus, lots of choices in charge modes and a start up mode for a badly discharged battery.
Cons: Since the manual says don't clip the clips together, don't clip them to the handle or the cable, but coil them up neatly, it would be handy to have something to wrap the cords to like you'd find on a vacuum cleaner for instance.
Other Thoughts: I'd really like to know why clipping to the handle is a no-no.
