PC680MJ Odyssey 12v 170 CCA Power Sport AGM Battery with Metal Jacket
Product Description

Odyssey (Drycell) batteries are military grade batteries and have endured rigorous tests that demonstrate their overall ruggedness and exceptional tolerance of mechanical abuse. The Odyssey battery offers higher cranking amps and additional reserve capacity as compared to the stock battery. Adding water is a thing of the past, and corrosion will cease to exist. A couple of other great attributes are vibration resistance and low internal discharge rate, thus offering physical endurance and superior off-season storage potential.

*BatteryStuff understands the importance of getting a replacement battery right away and usually ships all batteries the same day as ordered if recieved before 1:30pm(pacific), however USPS does not guarantee delivery times with priority mail.

  • Odyssey Maintenance Free Drycell Battery Features
  • Maintenance Free
  • Sealed design
  • No liquid Zero corrosion
  • Absorbed glass mat technology
  • Exceptional heat and vibration resistance
  • Very low self-discharge rate
  • Extremely High Cranking Amps
  • Extra heavy duty terminal design
The PC680MJ (MJ=Metal Jacket), means the battery is housed in a metal jacket. This enables the battery withstand higher ambient temperatures. The PC680MJ is rated to withstand temperatures of 176 degrees Fahrenheit vs. the standard PC680 is rated at 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Odyssey is the best battery you can buy, offering the most cranking power available of any battery its size, a whooping 680 amps for 5 seconds when full charged. The physical case size of the PC680 was designed for military applications and may not be a perfect fit for your bike as it is sometimes a bit smaller; but more powerful; than the original battery. IN SOME APPLICATIONS MINOR CABLE ADAPTATIONS MAY BE REQUIRED.

Odyssey Terminal Adapters
These are screw in terminal adapters for an Odyssey Battery. This gives you the ability to use automotive style connections.

Pros: Have not had a chance to put the battery to the test but what little I have used it, it has more starting power than the battery that came in the bike. Did not have to make any modifcations to the battery cables. Battery Stuff was first class, answered all my questions and the next battery I need will come from them

Cons: NONE

   Great Battery
By on Oct 05, 2016, Ownership: Use regularly, Knowledge Level: Electricity doesn't scare me.. usually

Pros: I was introduced to this particular battery through a good friend of mine who had been using one on his highly modified Electra Glide. His heads have compression releases, but every once in a while he would forget to open them and this 680 battery would crank his stock starter with ease. That was when he told me how this particular battery has a higher than advertised crank capacity for a few seconds so he wasn't worried about it. He was more concerned about the starter than the battery, but we're all human, and getting old. Been there done that. So it's been a little over 7 years since I purchased my PC680MJ in 2009 and installed it on my old 1340 Ultra Classic. One of key points that sold me was the storage life, mentioned on the 545's page. Unfortunately I haven't ridden in more than a years time, but while parked I've always kept a Battery Tender Plus hooked up to it. To my surprise it's just as strong as the day I installed it, 7yrs old, and sitting idle for over a year.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Had shopped around before buying and had the best price.
