1972 BMW 750cc R75/5 Motorcycle Batteries

While 1969 saw the beginning of the classic /5 series, 1972 saw the re-release of the most popular bike in the series the R75/5.  While there were many notable styling changes in 1972, the “toaster tank” being the most infamous, the real changes were “under the hood”-so to speak.  While they lightened the flywheel on all the /5’s BMW also lowered the rear axle gear ratio as well as increasing the width of the tire and rim on the stock R75/5.
