SS3 Pro Charger
I have owned this charger for quiet some time now and found it to be outstanding and put everyone of our customers that use chargers(any brand ) under the table. it has maintained my batteries for years . But finally after all these years. I installed three brand new batteries Two for the 24 volt trolling motor and one for the cranking of my Evinrude 140 hp HP engine and the batteries lasted for four years and the trolling motor ones are still going strong. My problem is i noticed the cranking battery would not always turn on the charging lights of my led charging bar till The battery just went out and will not come back with any charger. I got get me a new cranking battry and hope it is not my charger going bad. Because sometimes it would tunr on and charge and then other times I would have to hook anopther charger in on the one side for cranking..I sure dont want to buy another charger but i need someone to repair my pro charger if i buy a new battery and it still doesnt come on .
Cons:
There is never any cons except maybe it is heavy and takes up lots of room but . It has never let me down. You get what you pay for.and and old rule of thumb in the automotive and marine service business is lift a battery with you back and the heavier it is the better it is. so that means my procharger is the best you can buy, but it has held up in my boateven with all the bumps from flyng through the air at over 86 MPH. Evry since day on I back my boat in our basement at our lake house and plug up the charger and go off and not worry about it being ready to go anytime i am and until this last week It failed me or my caranking battry failed. I was in a car wreck and havent gotten to use my boat in nearly 6 months but my son has and it has did great but he even said the charger had one bank it look as if dying on the charge led lights. Then this week I went to see and sure enough one bank is dead. I going to try anew battery first and if it no work then I need a repairman or charger.
