Written Tutorial | Did I Receive a Bad Battery?

Updated on April 19, 2015
When you order a PowerSports battery from BatteryStuff, you always receive a fresh, ready to install battery. When we ship our maintenance free AGM powersports batteries, they are pre-filled, charged and ready to install. These batteries are sealed and considered “dry” batteries. Because our batteries are freshly activated you may occasionally see small acid stains on the packaging. AGM batteries are ‘fully sealed’, but do have pressure vents sealed underneath the battery top. read more...

Tips and Tricks | Preventative Maintenance

Updated on July 25, 2012
It is amazing the percentage of re-orders we receive. People call and tell me of how well the products they bought from us work! You shouldn't expect any less. Of course some things are easier to measure than others. In dealing with mechanical devices, only so much can be done. We prefer to sell maintenance products as opposed to fix-it products. Remember, it is always easier and cheaper to maintain than to repair. read more...

Personal Testimony | BatteryStuff for the Non-Powersports Rider

Updated on August 29, 2022
Here at BatteryStuff, the thing we sell the most is...well, you guessed it. Batteries. While it's true that we're a leading provider in motorcycle, ATV, scooter, and watercraft batteries, that doesn't mean that there isn't something for you, too. If you're like me, you may not have a motorcycle or any other powersport vehicle. I have an automobile, and that's pretty much it. While BatteryStuff may not specialize in car batteries (at least, not yet), I have found something to be very useful for my car. read more...

Tips and Tricks | Stay Cool in the Hot Summer Sun

Updated on May 9, 2012
Is it just me, or is it hot outside? Remember, motorcycle and ATV batteries can be damaged by extreme heat. If you can, keep your vehicles and batteries in the cool of the shade or indoors whenever possible. If you have a wet-cel or traditional flooded battery, please remember to check the fluid levels regularly. If they're low, just top them off with distilled water. Do not use tap water as this contains debris and elements that will ruin the chemistry of the electroylte. Be safe. Ride well. And remember to have a great summer! read more...

Special Event | Father's Day at Pottsville, Oregon

Updated on April 19, 2015
Father's Day was last Sunday, and I had the opportunity to spend some of my afternoon at a little festival in Southern Oregon that we call, Pottsville. There was live music, food, shops, children's events, and their famous tractor pull. I got to see some vintage John Deere tractors and some aged (and outdated) combustion engines that were still running strong. It's a nice event for the agricultural community to show off their machines. In the course of the gathering, my eye caught an interested sight. I walked in a hanger displaying some restored classic cars, and I looked up to see this 1967 125cc Montgomery Ward Motorcycle. read more...

Updated on November 23, 2020
This Sunday, June 19th, is Father's Day. It's a great day to have a family Barbeque and have dear 'ol Dad grill some of his famous dangerously saucy burgers and dogs. The weather is sure to be warm and sunny. And if you're lucky, someone will have brought over a glass of some freshly squeezed lemonade served with ice cubes. I'm sure any father would appreciate a real day of rest and relaxation. BatteryStuff would like to take this time to wish everyone a safe summer, and a very Happy Father's Day! read more...
